As a kid...

Growing up, I was the quintessential "perfect kid." I got straight A's, graduated Valedictorian, and graduated from an Ivy League. I was told that if I followed a specific path I would have a "successful and happy" life. Growing up with an Asian mother, I was told not to take any art or music classes because creative jobs wouldn't pay the bills. So I took out even more student loans to go to Pharmacy school so I could have a "stable career" and make my parents happy. But I was not happy. I loved art more than science and knew I had to have a career where I could be creative. This insatiable curiosity and secret passion laid the foundation for my future entrepreneurial spirit.

Then the entrepreneurship bug bit me...

During the last year of my Pharmacy school, I joined a Network Marketing Company with friends. Not only was I able to lose 60 pounds working out, I was also able to earn commission! This was my very first taste of having my own business. I was able to create my own offers, groups and services. I loved how I could be creative and earn money from it. I was starting to see the endless possibilities of having my own business.

Embarking on my journey as a pharmacist within one of the most renowned pharmacy chains, I had reached the pinnacle of success, much to my parents' immense joy and pride.

But I felt empty inside and unhappy. I knew I was meant to do something more. The constant pressure and tiring routine inside the pharmacy were not something I looked forward to every day waking up. I had to do something else. I honed in on my entrepreneurial spirit, embraced a new Network Marketing opportunity, and passionately embarked on expanding my community and elevating my personal growth.

Then I tried all the things that, well, didn't work...

Like many aspiring entrepreneurs, I faced my fair share of failures. I launched an online store selling jewelry, but it never took off. Despite investing in inventory and a fancy website, I struggled to attract customers. I tried blogging, hoping to make money through affiliate marketing, but my readership was minimal. I even launched an Airbnb corporate rental business but didn't have enough capital to expand my portfolio. To compound matters, my student loan was ballooning at an overwhelming pace, leaving me utterly deflated. These setbacks were disheartening, but they taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and adaptability.

Embracing the pivotal role of audience connection and the power of impactful marketing, I ventured into the digital realm, marketing cutting-edge courses and must-have products mentored by a leading coach. Yet, my journey was met with fierce competition in a bustling market, yielding modest triumphs. Every setback, though tough, carved out a pathway to invaluable wisdom and honed my expertise.

Finally, I cracked the code!

Discovering digital marketing was my game-changer. It started with becoming an affiliate for a high-ticket item where I learned the basics of digital marketing and how it can be utilized in so many different ways. Then I found ways to create my own digital products using the best AI tools in the market. I was finally seeing the tremendous potential this business model had. I was able to create and design any way I wanted and that was truly a breath of fresh air. I was finally doing something I loved this time around!

And that's when I found the Amazon Influencer Program --a program that combined both of my interests and passion! I was practically on Amazon every day buying things so I already had so many videos I could make. And the program was so easy to do! I just had to create a review video, upload it, and I got commissions almost immediately! And now I'm getting free products almost daily from brands. I had finally found the perfect business.
